What we treat

Here at Movement Solutions we treat all injuries of the foot and ankle ranging from overuse injuries, sprains, fractures, and post operative management.

2

How can physical therapy help?

Physical therapy interventions are instrumental in treating dysfunctions of the foot and ankle, including those stemming from sports injuries. Therapists utilize a multifaceted approach tailored to the individual's condition, which may involve manual therapy techniques to improve joint mobility, reduce pain, and alleviate muscle tightness.

3

What to expect

Targeted exercises are prescribed to strengthen muscles surrounding the foot and ankle, enhance stability, and improve balance. Functional training helps individuals regain proper movement patterns and agility necessary for sports and daily activities. Modalities such as ultrasound, BFR training, or electrical stimulation may be employed to aid in tissue healing and pain management. Through comprehensive assessment and rehabilitation, physical therapy aims to restore optimal function, prevent re-injury, and facilitate a safe return to sports and other physical activities.
